I had told everyone close to me when we found out about the cancer, that I was going to lovingly, drag them through the experience with me. Today I got to. Its Wednesday morning and theres something going on in my belly thats not good. I take 4 different medications to try to control whats going on. Nothing works and Wednesday morning I have my first bout of vomiting. Claires still sleeping but how often do you get to wake someone up like this... So I walk into our bedroom, open the bathroom door which has a line of sight to Claires side of the bed and let it fly. After 3-4 good wretches the demons are gone and Claire is now awake. Good Morning to you :D
The same thing happens on Thursday but much later in the day. Same feelings, same meds, no relief and puke. Its a miserable process that takes about 2 hours from inception to me puking. On top of the vomit, EXTREME muscle fatigue. It feels like theres concrete hardening in my muscle fibers making it hard to move. Thursday its so bad, mom has to make and cut my lunch for me.
Another side effect I have real bad is ototoxcitiy and tinnitus from the new chemo. I cant hear and my ears ring constantly.
Other than that, things have kinda working their way back to normal. I have more energy each day, I can look at a screen for a brief period and I havent thrown up in a few days.
